My Walt Disney World Bucketlist

As this post goes live, today is officially one week until we travel to Orlando!! Needless to say I am so unbelievably excited. Today I’m going to share with you my bucketlist for this trip including everything from attractions to food to experiences that hopefully I’ll get to experience.

Rides/Attractions

Flight of Passage & Na’vi River Journey – the last time I visited Walt Disney World was back in 2016 so Pandora had yet to open. I am so excited to get lost in the world one of my favourite imagineers, Joe Rohde, has helped to create.
Slinky Dog Dash & Alien Swirling Saucers – again one of the newest additions to WDW at Hollywood Studios is Toy Story Land. Having watched Tim Tracker’s volgs I am especially excited to see this land at nighttime. I also want to purchase the claw sipper and take a photo in front of the ‘popsicle’ wall.
Enjoy some Disney Classics – Even though this isn’t my first visit to WDW there are still a few attractions I’ve never done. These are things like The Enchanted Tiki Room, Hall of Presidents, Dumbo (although I think we did this on our very first visit), Living with the Land & The Festival of the Lion King.

Food & Drink

Dole Whip – So I’ve never had a dole whip, I know, I know… It’s something I’ve always had on my list of things to try but I’m yet to manage it, so hopefully this trip will yield success.
Night Blossom – This drink from Pandora looks so interesting, and the fact that people have described it as tasting like my favourite ice lolly a twister makes me even more excited to try it!
Eat & Drink Around the World Showcase including some stops at Food & Wine booths – This is the first time we’ve ever been in WDW for one of their festivals. Plus as a family we’ve decided this trip is all about trying new things! So I am really looking forward to using up some snack credits on some of the food and wine offerings and choosing a few alcoholic beverages to indulge in too – hey I am on holiday after all!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

If I’m being honest, my main wish for MNSSHP is to just try and take it all in and have an amazing night. I don’t want to put too much pressure on the evening, but that being said there are a few things I hope to get done

Watch the Hocus Pocus Show, Hallowishes & Boo To You – this is pretty self explanatory. I think I’m most excited for the Boo To You parade!
Eat all of the Halloween snacks – There are so many exciting food options this year and I am definitely going to try pretty much all of them. The two I am most excited for though are the candy corn soft serve and the Maleficent dessert
Meet some characters – After my last trip I now love meeting characters. I think my two priority meets are Moana & Lotso but I’m still deciding on my character game-plan (If you’ve any advice on this I’d love to hear it!). Hopefully we’ll have some time to go meet a few more friends but we’ll just play it by ear and see.
TRICK OR TREAT – My mum has set us the challenge of filling her rucksack full of ‘candy’ and that’s the basic plan!

Other

Watch the Kiss goodnight at Magic Kingdom – hopefully we can stay awake long enough to see this beautiful thing!
Get the Tangled Lantern Photo – Tangled is my second favourite Disney film of all time and I have been desperate to do this ever since it was introduced.
Eat some ice cream from Ample Hills Creamery at the Boardwalk – again I’ve never been to Boardwalk so I’m so excited to wander along it whilst eating something from Ample Hills Creamery.

and finally…

Watch Happily Ever After – I am excited for this, but apprehensive. I loved Wishes, it makes me cry every single time I watch it. I originally watched a video of Happily Ever After on Youtube after it was first introduced as we had no plans to return to WDW any time soon. Although it looked good it just didn’t pull on my heartstrings like Wishes… That being said, I reckon once I’m sat in-front of the castle I will be in a flood of tears and an absolute mess

There are many other things I have planned for our trip including a host of exciting and new (to us) dining reservations, but the above are my main priorities for this trip!
